¶ How to assign a cluster to a user
You are able to assign a cluster to a named individual to indicate they are remediating the issues highlighted. This is to deconflict efforts in your team. By using this feature you can make sure that your team is working efficiently and high-priority clusters are being actioned.
¶ Default assignment
By default a cluster is not assigned to a user when created (empty assignment shown as "-" in assignment column)
¶ How to assign a user
To assign a cluster to a specific user for investigation and remediation:
- Click through from the workbench to the cluster.
- In the cluster header, click on Assignee.
- Select the name of the team member you wish to assign the cluster to.
¶ View assigned user
To view a user assigned to a cluster:
When viewing in the workbench you can see the currently assigned user, as well as in the cluster page header (see "How to assign" above)
¶ Archived clusters
Once a cluster is archived, the assigned user will be removed. If the cluster is re-activated it will be necessary to reassign the cluster.
